1. 同意條款

使用本 App 即代表您同意本服務條款。如不同意請勿使用。

2. 服務說明

本服務是登山安全輔助工具，讓您將 GPS 位置分享給指定聯絡人（「守護者」）。

3. ⚠️ 重要免責 — 不保證救援

本 App 為通訊工具，非保證救援服務。 • 本 App 不會自動聯絡救援單位 • 本 App 無法 24/7 監控您的安全 • 本 App 依賴您手機的網路、電池與 GPS • 本 App 無法預防意外 • 本 App 無法保證守護者回應 • 本 App 提供者非救援機構您必須對自己的安全負完全責任，本 App 僅為輔助。

4. 使用者責任

您同意： • 提供正確的手機號碼 • 妥善保管密碼 • 使用前確保手機有足夠電力 • 告知守護者您的登山計畫 • 採取獨立的安全防範措施 • 為任何因您觸發的救援負費用 • 不濫用 SOS 功能

5. Self-Guard 模式特別說明

若您啟用 Self-Guard： • 您理解此功能僅供無守護者的使用者 • App 可能發送 Check-in 提醒，但不會主動聯絡單位 • 錯過 Check-in 不會自動觸發緊急通報 • 您須對誤觸發負責

6. 禁止行為

您不得： • 利用本 App 騷擾或跟蹤他人 • 未經同意將他人加為守護者 • 製造不實緊急通報 • 反向工程本 App • 用於非法用途

7. 免責聲明

本 App 依現況提供，我們不保證： • 服務不中斷 • GPS 資料準確 • 通知及時送達 • 相容所有裝置 • 完全無錯誤

8. 責任限制

在法律允許最大範圍內，我們不對以下負責： • 生命、人身或財產損失 • 緊急回應失敗 • 位置資料不準確 • 電池或網路失效 • 間接、衍生或懲罰性損害我方總責任不超過您為本 App 支付之金額（目前為 $0）。

9. 賠償

您同意對下列情形承擔賠償： • 您不當使用本 App • 您觸發的誤報 • 違反本條款

10. 終止

我們可能因下列原因終止帳號： • 違反條款 • 長期未使用（>1 年） • 法律要求您可隨時刪除帳號終止使用。

11. 準據法

本條款依中華民國法律解釋。爭議由台北地方法院管轄。

12. 條款變更

我們可能修改本條款。變更後繼續使用視為同意。

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using Search & Rescue (the App), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Search & Rescue is a mountain safety companion that allows you to share GPS location with designated contacts (Protectors).

3. ⚠️ CRITICAL DISCLAIMER — NO GUARANTEE OF RESCUE

The App is a COMMUNICATION TOOL, NOT a guaranteed rescue service. • The App does NOT contact rescue services automatically • The App does NOT monitor your safety 24/7 • The App relies on your phone's connectivity, battery, and GPS • The App cannot prevent accidents • The App cannot guarantee response from Protectors • The App provider is NOT a rescue organization You alone are responsible for your safety. The App is supplementary only.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to: • Provide accurate phone number • Keep your password secure • Maintain phone battery when relying on the App • Inform protectors of your hiking plans • Take independent safety precautions • Pay for any emergency services triggered • Not abuse the SOS feature

5. SELF-GUARD MODE SPECIFICS

If you use Self-Guard mode: • You acknowledge it is for users without protectors • The App may send check-in reminders but will NOT contact authorities • Missing check-ins do NOT trigger automatic emergency response • You are responsible for false alarms

6. PROHIBITED USES

You may NOT: • Use the App to harass or stalk others • Add unwilling persons as your protectors • Make false emergency calls • Reverse engineer the App • Use the App for unlawful purposes

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE DO NOT WARRANT: • Uninterrupted service • Accurate GPS data • Timely notifications • Compatibility with all devices • Freedom from errors

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: • Loss of life, injury, or property damage • Failed emergency response • Inaccurate location data • Battery or network failures • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (currently $0).

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from: • Your misuse of the App • False alarms you trigger • Violation of these terms

10. TERMINATION

We may terminate your account for: • Terms violation • Inactivity (>1 year) • Legal requirements You may terminate by deleting your account.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). Disputes shall be resolved in Taipei District Court.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
